Sharon Stewart CPO, CPOA

Practice Manager

Sharon is the practice manager and has been with Advanced Eye Care since 1992. She is a CPO, CPOA and was named paraoptometric of the year in 2012. Her duties in the office include pre-testing, optical technician and refraction surgery coordinator. She enjoys traveling with her daughter Brittany.


Maelene Lewis CPO

Contact Lens Evaluations and Patient Pre-Testing

Maelene is a certified paraoptometric (CPO) and does contact lens evaluations and patient pre-testing. She has been with our office since 1992, providing patient care and education to each of our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children.


Kelly Jo Chandler

Certified Paraoptometric Coder

Kelly is a certified paraoptometric coder, and has been with our team since 1999. She takes care of scheduling, insurance, and any other task needed. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grand kids, and the many puppies in her life.


Linda Runnion


Linda is one of our friendly faces that helps you pick out your glasses after your exam. She has been in the optical field for 12 years, but with our office for 5 of those years. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. In her spare time she likes to bake and clean, she is always bringing goodies to the office and keeping things tidy and neat.


Jennifer Sizemore CPO

Certified Paraoptometric

Jennifer is a certified paraoptometric (CPO). She has worked in this specialty since 2001. She is a multi-tasker and can assist patients with scheduling, ordering contact lenses, contact lens training as well as frame fitting and dispensing. She also performs patient pre-testing prior to the doctor’s evaluation. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family.


Kelly Ann Breese CPO

Frame Fitting and Dispensing

Kelly is a certified paraoptometric (CPO) with 10 years of experience. She assists patients with frame fitting and dispensing. She has been a member of our team since 2012. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.


Robin Elmore ABOC, CPO


Robin is a certified optician and paraoptometric. She has over 20 years of experience. She takes pride in assisting the patient with finding that perfect frame. Robin enjoys spending time with her husband, David and her daughter, Brooke and her cheer events.


Jalisa Straughter

Jalisa has been with our office since July 2018 and is a part of our front desk team. She's one of the smiling faces you see at the front desk, and voices you hear answering the phone and helping you with appointments. She enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and significant other, in her spare time she likes to go shopping.


Mandy Jeffrey, NRCMA

Paraoptometric / Optician

Mandy has been with our office since April 2019 but has been in the eyecare field for 2 years. She is one of the paraoptometric technicians that does the pre-testing before you see the doctor. Mandy can also assist patients with frame fitting and dispensing. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling.


Leslie Carter, CPO, NRCMA

Leslie is a certified paraoptometric since April 2018. Leslie does contact lens evaluation/dispensing, patient pre-testing and also assists with answering and scheduling appointments. I handle all diabetic letters to ensure they get to patients PCP/Endocrinologists in a timely manner. I have 3 children (2 adults and 1 child) which I enjoy attending basketball and football games with. I am also a National Registered Certified Medical Assistant since 2006. I love working with children and caring for everyone.


At Advanced Eyecare, the health and safety of our patients and team members continue to be our top priority as we respond to the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak.

The CDC has advised voluntary reduction of patient load to essential services only. We are diligently sanitizing our premises and taking precautions to do our part in mitigating the spread of the virus. We have revised our testing protocol to reduce contact as much as possible.

We ask that if you are not in need of essential medical services, you delay your visit until after March 30, 2020. We will be closing our office to routine care on March 20, 2020 and will be seeing urgent issues only. We are currently available during business hours by phone and email to schedule you if you have an urgent issue. You can also request an appointment at

If you have visited Coronavirus hot spot areas or have traveled in the last two weeks, have symptoms of fever, sore throat, congestion, cough, shortness of breath or generalized fatigue, please contact us to reschedule right away and observe the recommended 14 day quarantine.

For those of you coming in, please text or call us when you arrive in the parking lot. We will advise you of the best time to enter the office. This will make it safer for you and for others.

We are still receiving orders into the office, so delivery times are still on schedule as of now. We are also extending contact lens prescriptions and glasses prescriptions for 30 days for patients affected by the disruption of our schedule.
